About Our School
Cowies Hill Pre-Primary School is a private Christian preschool catering for the development of young children. It was established in 1971 and is a member of the Independent schools Association of South Africa (ISASA).
It is conveniently situated in a secluded area off Old Main Road, Cowies Hill. Our school provides a high standard of pre-primary education in a warm, caring and vibrant environment which all play an important role in a child’s development. We aim to develop preschool children into well-rounded confident individuals, taking special care of their physical, intellectual and emotional needs. CHPPS, with committed and experienced staff, provides the necessary teaching and support to equip the children in our care with skills they will need in order to develop their full potential.
Religious Statement
Cowies Hill Pre-Primary School is a private, Independent Christian Pre-Primary school, which fosters the development of Christian values and principles in a loving and supportive environment. Our educators provide the young child with bible lessons, stories, moral instruction and an ability to identify and name symbols linked to the Christian faith. We do, however, strive to demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to constitutional rights and responsibilities and to show an understanding and acceptance towards other diverse cultures and religions.
